Scandinavian design dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, but it really gained ground in the 1990s, when it convinced the public with its practicality. Today, minimalism has been in trend for more than 50 years. Traditionally, Scandinavian design is associated with clean and simple solutions, functionality and a democratic approach. And this approach is also used by Swedish designer Jonas Wagell, who designed a minimalist sofa and armchair.
