Book the night of Wednesday 12th to Thursday 13th August 2015 under the stars as the sky will be lively. We will witness one of the most beautiful space phenomena, a meteor shower, when flashes rain like a bet. The meteor shower is also known as the tears of St. Lawrence, as the annual event falls during the time when St. Lawrence rejoices. It will shed "tears" until August 24, but it will be best seen from Wednesday to Thursday.

Sometimes I walk around the keyboard, sometimes in nature. One time I twist the heels, the other time the kitchen. I press the trigger once, the pedals a second time. And one time I play the role of a moviegoer, another time a nanny. Life offers such a wide range of things that it would be pointless to dip your brush in just a color or two, right?
Did you also get the feeling that wasps are particularly annoying this year? This has driven many people indoors instead of enjoying breakfast in the garden, balcony or terrace. Many people don't let it bother them, but the fact is that pimples can be very uncomfortable and even dangerous for some. So how do we get rid of annoying wasps? Simple. All we need is a brown paper bag, some old newspaper and some tape or string.
It doesn't beat the comfort of tracksuits and there's no better piece of clothing for the home, but at the same time you have to put your social life and reputation on the line if you want to wear them outside. Well, at least that's how it was before the Sweat Tailor pants came along, offering the comfort and convenience of wearing a tracksuit, but in the style of stylish men's jeans.
Tritesil is not the first hybrid cutlery to contain a fork, spoon and knife in one, but it is the first to contain all three tools on one side. Well, it's not really the first, as we could see a similar design as early as World War 1, when military officers used them. It is therefore a modern reinterpretation of practical cutlery, which is ideal for camping, for the mountains or trips, when our backpacks and backpacks are usually bursting at the seams.
If you've ever watched the drama series Lie to me, then you know that covert lying is practically impossible, because unconscious body language always betrays us. On average, people come across 10 to 200 lies per day, so the knowledge of applied psychology, as we witnessed in the aforementioned series, seems to be useful. But you can recognize a lie even without this kind of knowledge, namely through the language used by the liar.
Many women say this. Before I became a mother, I could sleep as much as I wanted. I could chat on the phone for hours. I never really thought that any flower in the meadow could be poisonous or asked about allergies. I never paid too much attention to the late hour... But when they became mothers, their world turned upside down. And even though it sounds like they exchanged an easy life for a life full of worries, they discovered interesting things with their child that they didn't know about themselves before they became mothers. Check out what "discoveries" women make when they become mothers.
Many a city cyclist has a lot to say about bike racks. Indeed, industrial designers have been creating interesting stands for the last few years, which are becoming an indispensable part of urban furniture, but too often we get the feeling that they only thought about aesthetics, while they completely forgot about the practicality of stands. How else is one to interpret e.g. spiral racks that are a disaster in terms of usability? The same cannot be said for the Estonian design studio Keha3's stand and their refined version of the Tulip fan fan stand. Is the Tulip fan fan 2 the modern bike rack we've been waiting for?
Some time ago we looked at women's swimwear through history, but now it's time for a historical overview of men's swimwear. From overalls to miniskirts, even men's swimwear has a colorful path behind it. Do you want any of the trends to come back on the scene?
Space salad? Even children would eat these types of vegetables. But so far, the honor has only gone to the astronauts on the International Space Station ISS, who set a new milestone by growing the first food in space (Project Veggie). It is a new step in training humans for a mission on Mars and an idea that has been toyed with in many films, the latest of which is The Martian.
"Life is a series of surprises." said the American essayist, writer and philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson. One such is the stunning time-lapse recording 9,000,000 words, which reminds us that life is made up of tiny little things, which in the end, like pebbles in a mosaic, form a whole. Live in the moment and enjoy what life has to offer, because everything passes too quickly, like the mentioned time-lapse video by Patrick Weldon. And if a picture is worth a thousand words, a time-lapse recording is worth more than 9 million!
100% Banana pancakes are pancakes without flour and milk. They are also gluten-free, without added sugar, low-calorie and as such ideal for a healthy and quickly prepared breakfast. In addition to the ease of preparation, they have another good feature. When the kitchen smells like these delicious pancakes, even the biggest sleepers will get out of bed.
Optical illusion or bathroom sink? You'd be forgiven for thinking this ultra-modern Kub sink isn't real. But it is. The almost invisible sink was designed by the Bulgarian Victor Vasilev and is an outstanding example of minimalist industrial design. It is made of glass and Carrara marble (after the city of Carrara), which in antiquity was called marmor lunensis.
