Google and Microsoft have declared war on pirate sites. They adjusted the algorithm so that pages with pirated content are not displayed on the first page of results, which is quite a blow considering that more than 80 percent of internet users only look at the first page of results on Google. Any hit that is linked to a pirated website will thus not be among the first hits on either Google or Bing.
