We Slovenians like to complain about Slovenian roads, saying that they are full of dangerous sections, but despite this, we are far from having the "privilege" of owning the craziest roads in the world. We have collected some of the most dramatic, dizzying, dangerous, winding, crazy and "drunk" roads that cling to hills, mountain walls, wind along the coast, the desert, the middle of nowhere, etc. and which demand full attention from the driver while paving the way. Of course, their bravery is duly rewarded with spectacular views.

Sometimes I walk around the keyboard, sometimes in nature. One time I twist the heels, the other time the kitchen. I press the trigger once, the pedals a second time. And one time I play the role of a moviegoer, another time a nanny. Life offers such a wide range of things that it would be pointless to dip your brush in just a color or two, right?
A smartphone is an indispensable accessory for a representative of generation Y. Even so much so that he can no longer imagine life without it. At BuzzFeed, they therefore decided to invite six representatives of the millennial generation to an experiment and challenge them. One week without a phone. It wasn't exactly life and death, but for some it wasn't far from it. But they also came to important insights. Check.
Although it sounds utopian that one day the world will be ruled by only one government and all the inhabitants of the Earth will be "fellow citizens", the idea is not so far-fetched. Namely, when we look at the matter from a little further, and we mean physically further, i.e. from space, and when we throw in the progress in technology, it no longer sounds like a romantic idea. Imagine that there are countless habitable planets and planets with life out there. And then the planets become what we call countries today. Will humans then come together and present themselves as citizens of the Earth? If so, what would our flag be, i.e. the flag of planet Earth? Check.
The Oxboard two-wheeled vehicle is practically a Segway without the handlebars. This makes it easier to carry and easier to store. And it looks even better. Developed by a Danish company, it combines Segway technology and skater culture. It's easy for a child to operate, but it's also extremely agile. This is evidenced by the child's demonstration, which you can see below.
The elderberry is in full bloom, so hurry up and pick it. Do this in sunny weather, as you want the elderflowers when they are completely dry and fully open. And those, of course, that are away from the roads. Once a medicine box for peasants, today, in addition to its many medicinal properties, it is also a culinary treat. So why not use it to make a decadent dessert, elderberry panna cotta.
Amy is a poignant documentary film about the singer Amy Winehouse, who died too soon, signed by the British director Asif Kapadia. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and will soon be released on standard screens. The production of the film, which follows the life of one of the most talented British singers in general and comes four years after her death, also involved producer James Gay-Rees, who together with Kapadia "cooked" the already award-winning documentary about Ayrton Senna.
If we look back only ten years ago, TVs were still real fat, while today they are just bones and skin. South Korea's LG Display went one step further, as their bendable OLED TV, the first curved OLED receiver in the world, is only 0.97 millimeters thick, i.e. less than a millimeter, and weighs only 1.9 kilograms. It's no wonder that it can only be attached to the wall with the help of magnets, and it can be removed as easily as removing a picture.
Are you ready for a new chapter in another post-apocalyptic franchise? After a year, the sequel to the film Labyrinth (The Maze Runner), which received an extension of the original title - Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, is returning to the cinema screens. Hmm, the depiction of the world order in the future is still teasing Hollywood and Labyrinth is another sci-fi entry - currently also the only genre that can compete with superhero movies in terms of earnings - following in the footsteps of The Hunger Games and The Splits.
We don't need to emphasize how important it is that your mobile device has a sufficiently charged battery when you take it on the go. But once you're on the road, it's often not easy to find a place where you can charge your smartphone or tablet. The Solartab charger therefore relies on a thousand-year-old and inexhaustible source of energy - the sun. It also has an auxiliary battery that stores solar energy for when the sun is behind the clouds or when you are visiting the other side of the world.
The Slovenian animated cartoon Diego and friends goes out into the world, similar to how Talking Cat Tom and his friends went, but on a different path. This cartoon for children exists only in the Slovenian language, and with the funds collected on Kickstater, the creators at the production studio Medinmleko hope that the bulldog Diego will succeed in breaking into the English-speaking market. With the 30,000 euros collected, his dubbing adventures could be brought closer to foreign children as well.
Did you know that iron deficiency is the most common nutritional disorder and that one of the most common causes of fatigue is anemia. That is why the fact that 3.5 billion people worldwide suffer from iron deficiency is all the more frightening. For most of these, substitutes are either unavailable or too expensive. Well, thanks to the Lucky Iron Fish invention by Canadian doctor Christopher Charles, that is no longer the case, and anemia could become a thing of the past with the fish.
The Slovenian team Ondu, led by Elvis Halilović, is forging the iron while it's hot, as two years after the success of the wooden camera on Kickstarter, it returns to the scene of the crime with an improved line of Ondu Pinhole MK II cameras. The second-generation Ondu reached the $20,000 "high" bar on its first day, beating its previous time by 24 hours, when it managed to reach the set goal in about 48 hours. Compared to its predecessor, the wooden camera is more durable, and the sophisticated magnetic system means fewer problems with lighting.
