Facebook page is for businesses, services, etc. a marketing tool, and the number of likes is often a measure of success and relevance. That's why Fbox, a physical digital Facebook page like counter found on Indiegogo, was born. Admittedly, likes as such do not (yet) bring profit, but today we are so obsessed with them that e.g. a bar that shows a high number on such a meter must have attracted customers more easily than one that only has them as a place to eat. Will likes become the new Michelin stars?
