On the road trip from San Francisco, through the beautiful national parks of the American west coast to the California desert and Las Vegas, the journey also took me to the biggest musical spectacle of the year, the sixteenth Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, a small Californian town in the middle of Palm Desert.

At the beginning of April, the exhibition of Emona se vrača dolls opened in the City Museum of Ljubljana. The special feature of the exhibition is that it was not prepared by the curators, but by the fifth-graders of the Majde Vrhovnik elementary school, who participated in the Museum in miniature project. Dolls prepared by preschool and school children and families for the competition of the same name were put on display, and they drew their inspiration from ancient Emona.
