The origins of the Maribor Festival date back more than half a century. Today, the Maribor Festival is one of the most recognizable and high-quality festivals on Slovenian soil. The Maribor Festival 2017 will take place between September 3 and 21, 2017. As every year, important foreign and local musicians will perform on Maribor's stages, and this year's theme of the festival is romance with all its derivatives and in the broadest sense of the word.
