This year, Massimo Bottura was crowned the winner with his restaurant Osteria Francescana. Spain's El Celler de Vana Rocka is considered the 2nd best restaurant in the world, while New York's Eleven Madison Park rose from 5th to 3rd place. The big (unpleasant for many) surprise of the evening was that the Danish restaurant Noma, which since 2009 has always ranked in the top three places, and has stepped on the first step quite a few times, fell to 5th place this year.
