POLESTAR 1: THE RETURN OF THE SWEDISH COUPE

A half-year-old is a derivative of the Volvo brand, which, like other top brands, wants to offer more in the prestige segment. Thus, the production of the Polestar 1 will begin in the middle of 2019, when the first customers should already get their hands on it. With this, the Swedes are returning to the prestigious coupe game with a large Swedish coupe. The Polestar 1 will be a plug-in hybrid that will be able to put 600 horses (447 kW) on the road and generate 1000 Nm of torque under the wheels. It will demonstrate its hybrid excellence with up to 150 kilometers of energy independence. Of course, the Swedes also bet on excellence in materials. So there will be a lot of carbon fiber body parts. In addition to the traditional purchase, customers will also be able to rent their Polestar through a new subscription model. In this subscription model, buyers will pay a monthly rental fee that will cover vehicle depreciation, insurance and maintenance. And the price? From 130,000 euros.

TOYOTA GT SUPRA RACING: A STEP TOWARDS REALITY

All car lovers from the land of the rising sun were impatiently waiting to see the new Toyota Supra. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet, but we haven't been disappointed. They presented us with the concept Toyota GR Supra Racing, which already shows all the features of what the Japanese will soon offer us in the road version as well. You will be able to drive it virtually in the upcoming update of the game Gran Turismo. It is not yet known when we will be able to see it live on the racetrack. In any case, with the presentation of the concept, we are one step closer to the Supra that ordinary mortals are already impatiently waiting for. We're already crossing our fingers that it will be very, very soon.

NEW AUDI A6: A BUSINESS CLASSIC

New ones Audi A6 joining the recently rejuvenated Audi A7 and Audi A8. The six is a serious renovation and a completely new generation. As we all know very well, the Audi A6 has always been synonymous with the car model that has aged most charmingly in the top class. This is also why the new generation brings a lot of new things to the road. Since the A6 competes directly with BMW's five-door and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, it must also be one step ahead of its rivals in terms of technology. Smart navigation, plenty of assistance systems and top engines with mini-hybrid technology are proof that Audi intends to be extremely competitive. Quattro four-wheel drive is standard on all versions of the Audi A6, which represents a real little revolution in this business segment.

PEUGEOT 508: CONVINCING LIMOUSINE

Contrary to the trend of cars getting bigger and bigger, it is Peugeot took a slightly different route. The new Peugeot 508 is a little lower and shorter than its predecessor, but it has grown in width. It definitely looks sharp, especially because of the prominent front grille and aggressive front and rear lights. The frameless doors around the glass further confirm that Peugeot is serious and does not want to be just another inconspicuous sedan. Inside, we can't miss Peugeot's i-Cockpit, which can also be found in all newer Peugeot models. Ambient lighting and seats with a massage function are luxury accessories, and even more impressive is the fact that you can imagine the interior in leather, Alcantara or with real wood inserts.

ŠKODA VISION X CONCEPT: ADVANCED CONCEPT

By size Skoda Vision X Concept ranks it under Škoda's Karoq, but more than that, the concept is interesting from the point of view of technology. It can be powered by gasoline, compressed natural gas or just electricity. The heart of the concept is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that can run on both gasoline and compressed natural gas. The Vision X has two more electric motors. The first is classic, connected with a belt to the gasoline engine and acts as its starter. The second has a completely different function, as it is an electric motor in terms of propulsion, which provides an additional 70 Nm of torque. Depending on the driving conditions, the Škoda Vision X Concept can have front-, rear- or both-wheel drive. From 0 to 100 km/h it takes 9.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h. At the same time, it is extremely environmentally friendly. Excellent, Škoda!

CITROËN BERLINGO: CHIPPED CACTUS DESIGN

New ones too Citroën Berlingo it now has door protection, which we already noticed on the more refined Cactus. At Citoroën, they claim that the amount of cargo that can be transported with the Berlingo is the largest in this car class. The shorter version can carry objects measuring up to 2.7 meters in length and has 775 liters of luggage space, which is 100 liters more than the previous model. If that's not enough for you, you have 28 other storage areas available inside the car, which have a total of 186 liters of space. Even under the ceiling you will be able to find convenient storage areas. If you need even more space, you will have to choose the longer version of the Berlingo, which has 1050 liters of luggage space and can transport objects up to 3.05 meters long.

RIMAC C_TWO: CROATIA PROMISE

When talking about excess in the automotive world, only a few key facts are important. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, followed by horsepower and top speed. In all the listed data, Croatian Rhyme absolutely shocking. The Croatian Rimac produced a very very fast car. But this is no ordinary car, but a car driven by the increasingly popular electric vehicle. And the latter transmits an abnormal 1,914 horsepower to the road, which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.85 seconds. But that's not all. Rimac will be able to be driven up to a devilish 412 km/h final speed. Whether the Croats will be able to translate all these promises into reality remains to be seen. So far, they have managed to produce only 8 cars in their entire history, and the Concept Two is said to be produced in 150 examples. And the price? They don't want to talk about it.

RENAULT EZ-GO: RENAULT & THE FUTURE

Renault EZ-GO (pronounced the same as "Easy Go") is a robotic vehicle, specifically a driverless, electric-powered, shared-use autonomous vehicle. It is intended for transportation around the city and the suburbs - up to 6 passengers at the same time. Next to it is a dedicated station that blends in with the nearby urban environment. Renault EZ-GO is more than just a design study. It is a vehicle and a service at the same time, it is part of the smart city ecosystem that is gradually being created by city authorities, municipalities and the private sector. Its modular construction base allows for a variety of applications and different types of bodies.

VOLVO V60: CLASSIC WAGON WITH STYLE

From the first look at the car, it was quickly clear to us that it was new Volvo V60 absolutely wonderful. They said goodbye to the sharp edges of their predecessors and instead used softer, flowing lines that emphasize the elegant wagon shape. Again, there are headlights with integrated LED "Thor's hammers", between which the chrome front fascia stands out. The V60 thus definitely represents an imaginative and elegant alternative to the increasingly popular SUVs. The Volvo V60 puts practicality at the fore. The luggage compartment has a flat bottom and as much as 529 liters of space, which is 99 liters more than the outgoing model. With the new V60, Volvo wants to limit the use of the word SUV at least a little and re-introduce the more frequent use of the word station wagon into our everyday vocabulary.

BMW X4: NEW GENERATION SUV-COUPE

Already the first generation BMW X4 from 2014 was very attractive in terms of style, and the latest generation successfully follows this trend. Although the visual differences are not so noticeable at first glance, the whole works even better than ever before. The enlarged front grille, larger kidney grilles and LED headlights emphasize the sporty character of the SUV-coupe. The BMW X4 has grown in almost all dimensions, only its height has decreased by a few practically imperceptible millimeters. All BMW X4 models get a 10.25-inch infotainment system with navigation and redesigned front sports seats that offer better lumbar support and thus increase the sense of sportiness behind the wheel. The panoramic roof and three-zone air conditioning will make the time spent in the car even more beautiful.

KIA CEED: GOODBYE APOSTROPHE, WELCOME PRACTICALITY

The latest generation Kia Ceed was developed in Frankfurt so that it can be best prepared for the most demanding car buyers on the planet - Europeans. It will be officially shown to the public in Geneva at the International Motor Show, where another body version of the Kia Ceed will also be presented for the first time. It is better in both safety and assistance systems, which are even more sophisticated compared to the previous ones. The new generation Ceed has an accentuated so-called tiger nose, which is complemented by headlights that resemble ice cubes. These are already standard in LED technology and are successors to the previous generation Kia Cee'd GT and GT-line.

PORSCHE 911 GT3 RS: THE FURIOUS, GREEN HULK

Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the most powerful, atmospherically inspired and road legal Porsche imaginable right now. The poisonous green Porsche has 20 horsepower more than its predecessor. This means that the 4-liter 6-cylinder engine has a massive 520 horsepower and spins to an enviable 9,000 rpm. 20 horsepower more was enough to reduce the time required by the Porsche 911 GT3 RS from 0 to 100 km/h by a tenth of a second. The new time is now 3.2 seconds, and the top speed is 312 km/h, or 2 km/h more than its predecessor. For a little extra money, new owners of the "Hulkmobile" will be able to come up with the Clubsport equipment package, which includes a 6-point seat belt, a fire extinguisher and an aluminum roll cage.

HYUNDAI SANTA FE: A BOLD DESIGN SUV

On the front Hyundai Santa Fe it is dominated by the large cascade mask that we first saw on the current Hyundai i30. It is flanked on both sides by split headlights, in a similar way to what we have already seen on the Kona. Which is just as well, because the Santa Fe enters a segment in which it has tremendous competition, and somehow it has to stand out. Since the exterior has been significantly changed, the same can be said about the interior. This one has been completely redesigned and has little in common with the previous model. Similar to the Kona, the Santa Fe has an infotainment screen placed on top of the dashboard, which minimizes the driver's view of the road.

RUF SCR: IMPRESSES WITH ITS RETRO IMAGE AND POWERFUL ENGINE

At last year's Geneva Motor Show, RUFpresented the CTR model, and this year a slightly different SCR model. This represents a mix of retro looks and modern drive. It is powered by a 4-liter six-cylinder engine with as much as 510 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque, which will only be available with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The drive is connected to the rear wheel pair and reaches a speed of 320 km/h. RUF described the SCR as a gentleman's sports car, with a look similar to the Porsche 911 series of the 1980s.

ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA VISION CONCEPT: THIS IS WHAT ASTON MARTINS WILL BE IN THE FUTURE

At the brand Aston Martin the refreshed Lagonda Vision Concept is said to be the world's first luxury car powered solely by clean, zero-emissions energy. The head of design at this luxury brand, Marek Reichman, said that the Lagonda has an extremely bold image and that due to the electric drive, there is no longer a need for a standard shape, as we are used to since the days of horses and carriages. He added that since there is no longer a need to provide a large space for the engine in front of the driver, designers can be more daring. The batteries cover the bottom of the car, and everything above that level is left to the individual's imagination.

THE REINCARNATION OF THE LEGENDARY BMW 8 SERIES BO GRAN COUPE

It is already the case that "Gran Cupe" cars are more and more popular. And even in the most prestigious segment, it seems that just about every brand is clamoring for this type of sports luxury sedan. Mercedes-Benz has just revamped its CLS model. Audi has its flagship here, the Audi A7. And it seems that BMW really lacked such a model from the very top of the range in their range of vehicles. Despite the exciting BMW 6 Series, the new model still seems to deliver something more. When the BMW 8 Series hits the road, it should be the cherry on top of the brand's offering. So the absolute top and prestige. It will combine the highest level of sportiness and elegance. According to BMW Group Head Adrian van Hooydonk, the concept BMW M8 Gran Coupe offers a glimpse into the future.

RANGE ROVER SV COUPE: A SUPER SUV BECOME A SUPER COUPE

That the world of Land Rover and thus the Range Rover can be much more romantic than we imagined. The Range Rover SV Coupe is a limited series that will be prepared in a special department of the SVO Technical Center. This is where the protocol Range Rovers are also being prepared, with which the Queen is transported. The car will be completely handcrafted, as befits a "specialist".

MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT 4: SERIES ENVY

We all know the Mercedes-Benz GT super coupe. And as of today, it has a super brother, which bears the GT 4 designation and that, simply put, means an extra pair of doors and thus sedan utility, but still coupe-like swagger. If BMW presents concepts, Mercedes-Benz seems to be with its own GT4 a step ahead of him. But even this duel at this year's salon is something we can only wish for, as it promises a bright automotive future. According to the first information, the new member of Mercedes' AMG department should be available in three versions. But more than the "normal" ones, we are interested in the most prestigious and muscular ones. This will bear the designation S 63 and will hide under the hood the usual 630 horses for this designation and a whopping 900 newton meters of torque.

ABT AUDI RS4-R: 523 HORSES FOR CARAVAN ENTHUSIASTS

ABT the conversion of the RS4-R mainly played with the engine. The 2.9-liter 6-cylinder twin-turbo V-engine has 20 horsepower more than the standard version of the Audi RS4, which is exactly 523 horsepower. The torque has also been increased to 690 Nm, which means an additional 90 Nm. But the essence of the RS4-R is not only in the engine, but also in other conversions. ABT fitted it with a high-performance sports exhaust system with four carbon tailpipes with a diameter of 102 millimeters. All this to enhance the thrilling tune of the improved V6 engine. As you can see from the pictures, the ABT RS4-R got a bunch of carbon fiber accessories, both outside and inside the car. They got rid of the stock 19-inch wheels and installed even more noticeable 21-inch wheels in their place. The chassis was completely renewed with height-adjustable springs and sports stabilizers.

CUPRA E-RACER: A REAL ELECTRIC RACING CAR

Little is known about the electric racing car Cupra e-Racer, but we know for sure that it will have rear-wheel drive and 402 horsepower. It will be possible to change the parameters of the electric motor and adjust the output power up to 670 horsepower. The Cupra e-Racer is more than obviously based on the Leon TCR, except that it has given up the internal combustion engine in favor of an electric one. Compared to the Leon TCR, its electric version has gained 300 kilograms of weight, and because of this, its distribution is also different, namely 40 : 60 in favor of the rear part of the car. Regenerative braking returns some energy to the 65 kWh battery.

ALPINA XD3: A DIESEL THAT MAKES NO COMPROMISES

Alpine, the Bavarian remanufacturer of BMW vehicles, has taken BMW's 3-liter twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine under the microscope and further improved it. The end result is an engine with 333 horsepower and a whopping 700 Nm of torque. If these numbers haven't convinced you yet, the fact that the Alpina XD3 needs 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 254 km/h might. In more layman's terms, the Alpina XD3 is one of the fastest, if not the fastest, diesel-powered SUV on the market right now. According to the WLTP measurement standard, the consumption should be 9 l/100 km, while 238 grams of CO should be produced₂ per kilometer driven.

JAGUAR I-PACE: THE MOST TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED JAGUAR

Such efficiency Jaguar I-PACE made possible by a battery with a capacity of 90 kilowatt hours. This has enough energy stored for 386 kilometers. Regenerative braking and driving using only the gas pedal enable the maximum distance traveled. Charging the battery up to 80 % capacity requires only 40 minutes, assuming that we connected the car to a fast DC-charger with a power of one hundred kilowatts. If you were to charge the I-PACE at a standard household socket, it would take 10 hours to charge the 80 % battery.

HYUNDAI KONA ELECTRIC: ENOUGH ENERGY FOR 476 KILOMETERS OF A LONG JOURNEY

Entrance Hyundai Kona Electric it has an electric motor with a power of 133 horsepower and an immediate 395 Nm of torque. It has a 39.2-kWh battery, which is sufficient for up to 300 kilometers of driving distance. These measurements are made according to the new WLTP measurement standard, which represents a significantly improved version of the NEDC measurement standard. The first represents the global light vehicle testing system, while the second represents the new European driving cycle. The second version of the electric Kona has an electric motor with 201 horsepower and also an immediate 395 Nm of torque. It has a much larger 64-kWh battery, which increases the possible driving distance to just over 470 kilometers according to the WLTP measurement standard.

ITALDESIGN ZEROUNO ROADSTER: A TOXIC ATHLETE STILL “NO TOP”

Make no mistake, it's up to the A-pillar Italdesign Zerouno Rodaster exactly the same as its hardtop sibling. From the A-pillar onwards, however, the similarities end, as the Roadster has a removable roof that will most likely have to be removed and installed manually, as there is no mechanism for doing so. Behind the driver and passenger we have two "humps" and glass between them, which acts as wind protection. The rear is once again dominated by air vents, and above the rear diffuser we find a small opening for the exhaust system.

TOYOTA AYGO: AESTHETICALLY RENEWED LITTLE

Although it has Toyota Aygo the letter “X” for its signature, the changes around the front end have been geared towards making the Aygo more sophisticated. The headlights boast LED lighting technology and add that more serious touch and new light signature to the car. From the side, the Aygo is practically a copy of its predecessor, with the difference that the rear lights are different. These are also in LED technology and liven up the rear of the car. To make your Aygo stand out from the rest, new 15-inch alloy wheel designs and Magenta and Blue body colors are available.

PEUGEOT RIFTER: A FAMILY CAR WITH A NEW NAME AND GT LINE EQUIPMENT

Like the rest of the family cars, it will be Peugeot Rifter available with five or seven seats and in lengths of 4.4 and 4.75 meters respectively. In the longer version, the rear seats move forwards and backwards and you will be able to fold them into the bottom of the car, thereby obtaining a flat loading surface. The shorter version with five seats has 775 liters of luggage space. If you need the maximum availability of luggage space, you will have to choose the extended version, where you can transport as much as 4,000 liters of cargo with the seats folded down. Under the ceiling, you will find an additional compartment with 14 liters of space, which is accessible from the back row of seats or through the tailgate.

FERRARI 488 PISTA: THE NEW PRESSURE-BUILDING BEAST

The "gym" and "trainers" in Marenello made sure that he had Ferrari 488 Pista as much as 90 kilograms less compared to the Ferrari 488 GTB. MERCEDES-BENZ C: MORE “HORSES” AND A SIGNIFICANT TECHNOLOGY UPGRADE

Exterior cars 2019 Mercedes-Benz C offers subtle but noticeable changes. The front AMG diamond grille is now part of the standard equipment, and is further enhanced by the standard LED headlights. The front part has slightly changed lines, as well as the rear, to which a noticeable diffuser has been added. The rear lights are also in LED technology. There are fresh 17-inch twin five-spoke wheels and two new metallic colors, Mojave Silver and Emerald Green. The interior remains largely unchanged, unless you opt for a 12.3-inch display instead of the standard instruments. The redesigned steering wheel offers sliding buttons, which we first saw on the Mercedes E-Class.

MERCEDES-MAYBACH S: A REFRESHMENT WITH SIGNIFICANTLY MORE LUXURY

Refreshed Mercedes-Maybach S is distinguished from the Mercedes-Benz S sedan by the front fascia, which has vertical rather than horizontal slats. More chrome-plated surfaces are added around the car, further highlighting the luxury. The biggest difference will be noticed on the side profile. The Maybach S is 5,461 meters long and has a 3,365 meter wheelbase. This means that the Maybach S is 254 millimeters longer than the Mercedes S-Class. The increased length will be noticed most by passengers in the back seats. The Mercedes-Maybach S will be available in a two-tone combination of the body and in nine combinations. To make the new Maybach's color really shine, it's covered with two coats of clear coat, and before these final coats are applied, workers hand-sand the base color to reveal all its glory.

PORSCHE MISSION E CROSS TURISMO: PORSCHE'S NEW ELECTRIC DRIVER

The Volkswagen group, which also includes Porsche, has many crossovers or off-road versions of models. Thus, buyers can reach for the Skoda Octavia Scout, the Volkswagen Passat Alltrack or the Audi A6 Allroad. This trend is now being joined by Porsche, which is an offroad version of the previously presented Porsche Mission E. Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo it is a kind of station wagon or stretched version of the Porsche Mission E with off-road characteristics. It measures 4.95 meters in length, has four-wheel drive and two electric motors with as much as 600 horsepower. The instant torque of the electric motor allows the new Porsche to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h in less than 12 seconds. The maximum speed will be more than 250 km/h.

BUGATTI CHIRON SPORT: THE SUPERSPORT GOT EVEN FASTER

The heart of the exotic supercar still remains the 8-liter 16-cylinder W-engine with 1,500 horsepower. New ones Bugatti Chiron The Sport has improved driving dynamics and stiffer suspension, while the engine has remained unchanged. The dampers are stiffer on the 10 % Sport version than on the standard Chiron. This is especially noticeable when driving through bends. The Chiron Sport is now even richer for the Dynamic Torque Vectoring function. This ensures that each wheel gets exactly the amount of torque it needs at a given moment. This also helps drive more efficiently through corners, and the system can be used in all driving modes.

LAMBORGHINI HURACAN PERFORMANTE SPYDER: ROOFLESS AND EVEN MORE TOXIC

You can be sure that Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder despite the soft roof, it hasn't lost any of its sharpness. It still uses the well-established Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva principle, which ensures maximum aerodynamic efficiency and thus further increases performance. Like the coupe, the Spyder version has improved four-wheel drive, an upgraded chassis and an improved electronic stability program. Engineers played with the steering system and reduced the weight of the car by 35 kilograms by using carbon fiber. The Spyder thus weighs only 1,507 kilograms.

HYUNDAI LE FIL ROUGE: ANNOUNCES THE NEW DESIGN DIRECTIONS OF THE HYUNDAI BRAND

As already mentioned, all upcoming Hyundai cars will be inspired by the latest concept. This applies to sedans and SUVs. The concept has the image of a seductive limousine, which we would not defend a bit if it saw the light of day in such a form. Le Fil Rouge is certainly one of the most attractive cars to ever wear the Hyundai badge. Perhaps in the future we will witness such an elegant sedan under the umbrella of the Genesis brand.

BENTLEY BENTAYGA HYBRID: THE MOST ECO-FRIENDLY BENTLEY OF ALL TIME

Bentley Bentayga Hybrid it has a turbine 3-liter 6-cylinder V-engine, which is provided with additional power by an electric motor. Unfortunately, more information about engine power and battery capacity is not yet known, but we do know that you will be able to travel up to 50 kilometers with the hybrid Bentayga on electric power alone according to the NEDC measurement standards. Charging the battery takes about two and a half hours. The exterior of the Bentayga remains the same despite the powertrain. Almost. The most noticeable difference is, of course, the door that hides the connector for connecting to the electrical network. In addition, the manufacturer's logos have been given a copper color touch to recognize the ecological orientation of the Bentayga Hybrid.

VOLKSWAGEN ID VIZZION CONCEPT: FUTURISTS, THIS WILL BE YOUR NEXT CAR

Many car enthusiasts are scratching their heads when automakers announce driverless cars and zero-fume powertrains. But this is definitely the future of the automotive world, which no one can escape. Thus, we can almost bet that vehicles that will enable level 5 autonomous driving will prevent accidents and consequently have lower insurance premiums, as the probability of an accident will be 100 times lower. Smart systems already prevent, for example, accidents when parking a vehicle, when sensors prevent you from leaning against another car, for example. Most new vehicles are equipped with the "city safety" system, which prevents or even automatically intervenes in driving up to a certain speed and stops the vehicle to prevent a collision or injury to a pedestrian. All advanced systems can also be found at Volkswagen ID Vizzion Concept.

LEXUS UX: BRAVE DESIGN, NEW PLATFORM AND, SOMEHOW, HYBRID DRIVE

Lexus is not common on our roads, but we believe it has the right model UX great potential for Slovenian buyers. Namely, it enters the segment of crossovers, which can play several roles at the same time and thus satisfy increasingly demanding car buyers. Lexus will appeal to urban nomads and those who don't want to be average. Just look at his Bahasa "nose" and the lines that follow the Japanese design tradition. If you like cars from the land of the rising sun, then the UX is already high on your list of choices. The interior follows the avant-garde design of the exterior. It is more calm, but still extremely modern. The Japanese leather stitching technique called sashiko reigns supreme inside. This is used when sewing uniforms for martial arts such as judo or kendo.

POP.UP NEXT: AUDI, AIRBUS AND ITALDESIGN – THIS IS HOW THEY SEE THE FUTURE

At to Italdesign they say the Pop.Up Next project represents the next step in reducing congestion and freeing up traffic in urban centers. It is an all-electric solution with no harmful emissions. Pop.Up Next is actually an electric car that can be separated from its drive unit and fly into the air with the help of four propellers.
