It is extremely pleasant when fresh wind blows through the Slovenian music scene and new melodies caress your ears. This time Bard brings something different in the form of eleven original compositions.
The bard, who is also one of the three founding members of the group Niet Aleš Češnovar, attracted quite a few well-known musical names to participate with his sensual and emotional musical idea, which can be found in the compositions. While Češnovar took over lead vocals, bass guitar and guitars, we can hear Vasko Atanasovski on flute and saxophones, Dejan Lapajnet on drums and guitar, Nino Mureškič on percussion, Borut Činč on Hammond and guitar, Jure Kremenšek on backing vocals and Severo Gjurin on another vocal. It's really great to hear so many names merged on one record, but Bard always strived for simplicity and natural sound during the creation, which echoes from the self-titled record released last November.
For the album's presentation and live performance, Bard gathered three musicians, who supposedly provide a rock and electrically charged atmosphere live. In addition to the aforementioned Češnovar, we will also hear a young and promising rhythm section, drummer Nataša Zamida and bassist Yuri Pietro Paolo Baron, on the Kino Šiško stage.
