The Bentley Bentayga Hybrid combines all the luxury elements that we are used to from this brand, and adds ecological awareness to it. After the V8 version, we now have a plug-in hybrid, in addition to which you can think of a Phillipe Starck charger so that you don't "show" the design in your home and garage.
Bentley Bentayga Hybrid has a turbine 3-liter 6-cylinder V-engine, which is provided with additional power by an electric motor. Unfortunately, more information about the engine power and battery capacity is not yet known, but we do know that you will be able to drive the hybrid Bentayga purely on electricity up to 50 kilometers according to NEDC measurement standards. Charging the battery requires approx two and a half hours. The exterior of the Bentayga remains the same despite the powertrain. Almost. The most noticeable difference is, of course, the door that hides the connector for connecting to the electrical network. In addition, the manufacturer's logos were given copper color note, to recognize the ecological orientation of the Bentayga Hybrid.
The interior allowed several changes due to the hybrid drive, which were actually necessary due to the new drive. Instead of a switch for system Start-Stop, we now have a button to select the driving mode and choose between EV Drive, Hybrid and Hold Mode. Changed entertainment and information system offers battery status monitoring and provides information on how the hybrid system deploys its power and drive. Where the gauge for the coolant temperature was located until now, there is now a gauge that shows the state of charge of the battery. How much the hybrid system will help with the "thirst" of the Bentayga is not yet known, but it will certainly not be a decisive factor that would influence the decision of future owners of a hybrid Bentley.
