Shortly before the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Bentley Continental GT was presented to us. The luxury coupe, intended for long journeys, has been thoroughly redesigned and will thus inspire even greater admiration than its predecessors. Advanced technology, a large individual choice of colors and a powerful engine are just some of the things that make the new Continental GT so powerful.
The numbers that revolve around the new engine Bentley Continental GT, they are impressive. 6 liter 12 cylinder engine with twin turbine has been upgraded and the breaks are bold 626 horsepower and 897 Nm of torque. This power ensures that the Continental GT accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, and its top speed is 333 km/h. It is also upgraded four-wheel drive, which, by constantly monitoring what is happening, sends power to the wheels where it is most needed. The air suspension has been updated to offer more comfort, and the new steering system is said to better absorb bumps in the road and give the driver even more feedback from the road.
They intertwine inside modern technology and tradition, which some Bentley customers still want. We have available on the center console three analog indicators, which spin around at the touch of a button in James Bond style, and we admire them instead 12.3 inch screen on touch. But unlike Bond's car, Bentley has everything ready for it as well Apple CarPlay and other smartphones. The options for customers to choose from are almost limitless. 15 different types of carpets, 8 types of veneer for the interior and more 4 double designed veneer inserts. The regular offer already offers just that 17 exterior colors, but if we take into account all the additional shades, there are as many as 70 of them. And if we add to that the serial ones 21-inch rims or 22-inch to order, we get real impressive exterior.
They are Bentley Continental GTs thoroughly tested both in the polar regions of the world and the most desert-hot parts of America. Road conditions were monitored in the demanding terrain of South Africa, Europe, China and the Middle East. During testing they did more than a million kilometers. In all likelihood, none of the Bentleys will be put through that many miles in these conditions, but it's still good to know that if you're going to buy a new Bentley, it's capable of surviving many things.
