Berlin - nightlife as a dream to fulfill

Berlin is not only the capital of Germany, but also the nightlife capital of Europe.

Airports in the north and elsewhere in Europe are full of fun-seeking travelers every Friday, excitedly boarding the plane to Berlin. A few hours later, they are already in the German capital, which welcomes everyone with open arms. No one needs a hotel reservation, let alone a room, why, these people came to Berlin with only one reason - to use the weekend to fulfill their "party" dream. At least 48 hours of music, dancing, socializing, rejoicing, also pampering the taste buds, and above all unforgettable nightlife are like a dream for many. Berlin is famous for the fact that everyone can find a corner in it, where even hidden desires and sinful thoughts, "party" ones of course, will be fulfilled.

Intimate Chapel Berlin
The unique nightlife in the German capital can be toasted with an aperitif in one of the quieter streets, where simple wooden benches are placed in front of bars, and young people carefreely hang out over a mug of beer. On Sonntagstraße, we can easily find a homely corner to sit down with a coffee, as the bars could easily be placed next to Pritlič, Tozd or LP in our capital. So we can have an aperitif at the bar Chapel Berlin, dressed in elegant black and with a feeling of intimacy, we sip a sip as an introduction to the tense nights ahead.

Berlin Metelkova for an appetizer
If you would like to have something to snack on before an unforgettable party and gain extra energy, it is worth visiting the famous ones White Trash Fast Food. Converted from a Chinese restaurant, a hybrid between a pub, a bar, a club and a cinema, White Trash beckons with its kitschy but still homely style, which we cannot hope for even when they put in front of us the most delicious burger we have ever eaten, with sweet or classic fries. Meanwhile, a garage band reminiscent of The Strokes or The White Stripes and who will accompany us to the basement bar after dinner, where the "party" can continue at will. But we can continue to explore Berlin's club scene. Just a few steps from White Trash, which in the garden in the summer also arranges for socializing around the barbecue, which we quickly ran into Berlin "Metelkovo" by the shack canal of the Spree in the Kreuzberg area. V Club Der Visionare minimal techno took root during the time they had their residency there Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos, and even today we can dance the Saturday night to this kind of electronic sounds or get lost in the crowd that fills the club in the afternoon before the start of the party or in the morning after a successful night.

House and techno in the heart of "hipster" heaven
Let's continue our journey towards one of the most famous bridges, the Oberbaum Bridge. On the terrace of the club Watergate with a view of the river Spree, we have the opportunity to enjoy the heart of the "hipster" heaven, as some media have called the mentioned club area of Kreuzberg. Watergate is also an extremely popular spot for those who would like to dance the night away to the sounds of big DJ names, by Adam Freeland or Chicken Lips, for example, which fill the speakers with broken rhythms, drum'n'bass or breakbeat, and for a short rest they suggest some pompous house music. Like some of the other clubs in the area, Watergate, whose vibes are what it's famous for, boasts excellent sound and lighting, and the crew have also launched their own record label. Watergate Records with performers such as Mandy, Get Physical and Mobile at the head.

A trust for bohemian and hedonistic tastes
So that the night will remain in the memory for a long time, before its climax, we stop at To the Trust, which Berliners call a bar rather than a club. In the immediate vicinity of the James-Simon-Park and Monbijoupark, or in the center of the German metropolis Mitte, home to quite a few famous clubs, it was opened by the owners of the megaclubs Cookies Cream and Weekend, so compared to the latter, this one is more intimate and bohemian, a bit smaller, but still suitable for true party hedonists. If alternative clubs, no matter how hedonistic, are not our goal, we will definitely enjoy the club that opened in 2013 The Pearl, which has revitalized the slightly sleepy western part of the city center and invites us under its LED light-strewn ceiling above the sparkling dance floor.

The highlight of the night, which has no equal
The night has its own power, they say, and it holds true in Berlin. In the second half of the night, the real fun actually starts well. In which club we will take her is the main question, but the answer may be quite simple. There is a small sea of clubs in the aforementioned Kreuzberg. An abandoned 150-year-old villa, for example, was converted into an atmospheric decadent club Chalet, open seven days a week, during which we will dance in dim beams of light or rest our heels from dancing for a moment in the wonderful huge garden. On two dance floors, furnished in vintage style, talented local and foreign DJs will be playing under our feet, and the best days for "partying" are Monday with a mysterious music program and Thursday. Techno lovers can venture into a unique techno realm - Tresor. Its history begins exactly where the city's clubbing scene began - after the unification of East and West Germany. After they launched the label Interfish, the Tresor team got the idea after the club was founded. The timing was right, of course, and with some help, this quickly became a very popular location for "partygoers". And also for music producers and DJs. The abandoned hydroelectric power plant became the center and home to many dance floors, never-ending electrified rhythms, the glow of club spotlights and, of course, incredible sound and acoustics. In the largest and most respected club, Friday and Saturday nights are ideal for clubbing. In the old hydroelectric power plant on the other side of the river Spree, an equally high-profile club was created Berghain, which together with Tresor belongs to the very top of Berlin clubs, and the two clubs settled in the former swimming pool Stadtbad Berlin, which since 2001 has provided space for artists, musicians, designers and many start-up companies, and Prince Charles. Due to their unusual atmosphere, neither one nor the other took long to establish themselves on the club scene, even though the latter is also known as a bar - its bar was subtly placed right in the pool, and above it a beautiful "fish" mural flourishes.

Finally, a visit to the factory and a "party" with herbal liqueur
No problem, Berlin is exciting in every way. There are so many different clubs that we can hardly imagine them, but at the end of our "party" trip it is definitely worth visiting the factory of one of the most famous herbal liqueurs. If we've already started with the aperitif, let's finish with it. On Jägermeister Germans are extremely proud, so it is ubiquitous at concerts, music festivals, clubs, bars and other social events. His home can be found three hours by car from the capital in the town of Wolfenbüttel, where a part of the factory is also on display, where they kindly reveal to us many of the Jägermeister's secrets or unknown information. We didn't know that 383 quality checks were carried out before the bottles were filled, did we? Or that the distillers, when the liqueur rests, constantly taste it to finally get the right taste? Around 400 mighty oak barrels, in which the liqueur breathes and matures for a year, are gathered in the cellars near the hotel Jägermeister Gästehaus, where we can rest, and even before that we are invited to a real party, which serves a wide variety of cocktails prepared from this famous liqueur.
