Best apps: Become your own DJ

Enthusiasm for music knows no bounds. For some, it is enough for her to accompany them every step of the way, while others like to experiment with her in a wide variety of ways. Since almost everyone has smartphones and other mobile devices, it's easy to create music by yourself, but which app is the best to choose?

Among the musical ones applications there is a small sea of those with whom we can create or play with music. We simply install the desired application and test it, but to save you time in searching for the best one, we have already found a few and tested them.

Oh, another tip for those of you who will forget everything around you while DJing - make sure you at least have a phone charger handy at all times, as these apps are very diligent in draining your phone's battery. We wish you a lot of fun!

1. Djay
Jay the app is a great tool for both beginners and more experienced music mixers. The transparency and urban design immediately catches the user's eye, and we are excited that the cover of the album from which we downloaded a certain track appears on the turntable. It's quite easy to have fun clicking and playing music, and try mixing pre-installed music samples that you can turn into your own song.

Application price: around 15 euros. Compatibility: Mac, iOS; the Djay2 application is also suitable for iPad (7 euros) and iPhone (1.5 euros).

2. VirtualDJ Home
Although the application is not as transparent as Djay, the advantage of VirtualDJ Home is that it is free and suitable for an amateur DJ, which is actually more than enough. All the usual tools and effects we need to twist music are of course available, and with the sound waves shown we can help ourselves to match the bits.

3. Tractor DJ
Traktor's mobile version is suitable especially for more experienced DJs, as it is designed in such a way that the content is reduced on the screen. For those of us who are still beginners when it comes to mixing music, a little patience will come in handy, because if we just get used to mixing a little, we can become real A tractor a professional.

4. Edging
The free version of Edjing is limited and requires us to earn points to unlock some common mixing features. An additional challenge, but nothing for it, and it shouldn't be too easy, right?

5. Cross DJ
Advantage of the application Cross DJ is that it is free and available on different platforms - both tablets and smartphones, be it iOS or Android. The larger the screen of our device, the more space we have for functions, which is why the application on smartphones looks rather dry, although the functionality does not suffer in any way. The free desktop version for Mac also has a place for videos at the top, but it only works on the paid version, which you can get for about 20 euros.

6. PocketDJ Vintage
It's okay if we don't have the latest smartphone. Creators PocketDJ Vintage they also had older versions of Android in mind when creating the app. Although the application lacks quite a few advanced features, we can have immense fun playing with different songs.
