Where to go for a good feast? This difficult choice was also made easier for us this year by the project The Slovenia restaurant awards 2019, carried out under the sponsorship of Diners Club, which ceremoniously awarded awards for the best restaurants in Slovenia 2019. Which restaurants earned the title of best in Slovenia for 2019?
The Slovenia Restaurant Awards 2019 by Diners Club has made life easier for all gourmets this year as well, because they know where to go for a good feast and go home with a smile on their face! As part of the selection of the best restaurants in Slovenia a ceremony was held in Smlednik for the award winners for the best restaurants in Slovenia 2019.
The flattering title of winner of the region for 2019 was won by the following restaurants:
- ALPINE SLOVENIA: Franko's house
- MEDITERRANEAN AND KARST SLOVENIA: Inn at Lojzet / Dvorec Zemono
- THERMAL PANNONIAN SLOVENIA: Denk House
- CENTRAL SLOVENIA: Restaurant JB
Awards were also presented in other categories, namely
- BEST INN: Inn at Lojzet / Dvorec Zemono
- BEST HOTEL RESTAURANT: Restoration Castle Otočec
- BEST NEWCOMER: Domestic Belica
- SOCIAL PROFILE OF RESTAURANTS: The Basilika family
- BEST SOCIAL (CULINARY) INFLUENCER: Jernej Zver and Maja Galuf, who create a culinary blog JernejKitchen
- BEST SERVICE BY DINERS CLUB EXCLUSIVE: Cubo restaurant
The three absolute winners of the national selection of the best restaurant in Slovenia 2019 (TOP 3 Slovenia Restaurant Awards) received Inn at Lojzet / Dvorec Zemono, Franko's house, Villa Podvin.
The restaurant that received the largest number of votes from the public via online voting is (VOX POPULI RESTAURANTS) Franko's house
