Sexto 'Nplugged, between intimacy and music, is a musical experiment that takes place between June 23 and August 5 in Sesto al Reghena, Italy. A good two hour drive from Ljubljana to experience Bombay Bicycle Club, Goldfrapp, Angus & Julia Stone, etc.
A musical event THE 'NPLUGGED SECT takes place in the charming Piazza Castello, which is also home to Santa Maria Abbey, a cathedral that offers excellent acoustics. The event is characterized by unique versions of artistic performances that interact with the place where it takes place. Avant-garde artists with cultural depth adapt their performances to this very place, and Piazza Castello adapts to them. The result is strong emotions of the audience and, of course, the performers.
This year they are taking care of it: the British Bombay Bicycle Club (June 23), Australian duo Angus & Julia Stone (June 26), British folk-rock band Johnny Flynn and The Sussex Wit (June 26), English dream-pop duo Goldfrapp (July 11), native Flight Vin (July 14), Icelandic singer-songwriter Emiliana Torrini (July 14), a pinch of psychedelic American artists The War on Drugs (July 15), which will be supported by the Italian Man on Wire (July 15) and finally musical cats Television (August 5).
