Big architecture 2017: 10th international festival of architecture and professional construction

At the 10th international conference, this time we will ask ourselves what is 'advanced' in architecture and construction. If development leads us to new ways of building and thinking, progress means a step forward. Progress is development on the way to a certain goal. So what are the advanced goals of architecture? How to push the boundaries of the ordinary and reach a higher state in terms of quality, boldness and sustainability?

The tenth festival Big architecture will mark progress. When progress is made, we call it life. Progress is not change, change is automatic, progress is not. Progress it requires excitement, vision and power, to lift, and then to last.
Economic indicators show that after eight years of sleep in Slovenia a new spring is awakening in the construction industry. Therefore, now is the right time to set new goals, gather inspiration and embark on an exciting journey of creativity. Selected foreign architects will share with us their visions and thoughts about what kind of progress they want and what potentials for the development of architecture they have discovered.
