From September 27 to November 11, 2012, the National Museum of Slovenia will host the exhibition The City Tells. Cities have always been gathering places for the world's greatest thinkers and incubators for the development of progressive ideas. They have become the centers of the world's most important political, economic and social events. Traces of inspiration from different periods, cultures, geographical areas and religions are captured in art and creative expression in architecture, film, music, literature and theatre.
The exhibition explores how cities have inspired individuals and communities and how they have also changed them with different creative approaches and approaches. It is divided into four sections, and at the end there is an interactive epilogue, where visitors can express their views and ideas about the subject of each work. Visitors have the opportunity to make a manifesto of their city and imagine how they could change their city for the better.

The exhibition was created in collaboration between the British Council and Maslaha, and is on view in the National Museum of Slovenia as part of the accompanying program of the 23rd Design Biennale, prepared by the Museum of Architecture and Design.
