Bio Hotel St. Daniel: a sustainable hotel in magical Štanjel in the Karst

Bio Hotel St. Daniel, which you will find in the village of Hruševica in Štanjel, is anything but "another" hotel in the range of providers in Slovenia. It is about holistic space, a hotel with the philosophy that ecological is the highest level of sustainable development. They are not organic where it is modern. They are organic because it is the most natural thing. And you will be able to perceive it at every step.

Their rooms, suites, apartments are equipped with rustic furniture made of recycled wood and with anti-allergenic organic cotton bedding. All rooms have these "holy corner". There is a bag with salt and sage in front of the door, because the old tradition says that these two components clean the space on the energy level, and in the room there are pendulums that will retune you to the right frequency. A ritual with crystals awaits you in the morning, and a ritual with solfeggio frequencies in the evening, where you will be able to relive your day, all the events with all the feelings.

You can relax in the sauna, where you can choose between anti-stress and invigorating saunas: herbal, Finnish or infrared sauna, as well as in swimming pool. Water here not chlorinated, but is based on electrolysis with salt and disinfection with UV light.

As you might expect, their cuisine is also organic. They don't have a menu they cook by intuition, with organic, seasonal ingredients and local products. They only use food from certified organic producers - local partners from the Karst, and he also helps them with the cooking living water.

How in Hotel St. Daniel still contribute to the preservation of Mother Earth? They recycle and compost, limit light pollution, heat with non-polluting sources, use organic cleaners and cosmetics, organic food in the kitchen, use water wisely, and in 2021 they also want to use solar energy as an energy source.
