Famed luxury shoe designer Manolo Blahnik and Birkenstock have revealed a "proudly glamorous" collaboration that reinvents two classic styles from the German brand. Their slip-on shoe is known for its cork sole, but this time it will be adorned with different colors, jewels and luxurious materials.
The shoes were created according to the model Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, and her blue “Manolos”.
Blahnik has (re)designed the Arizona flip-flops with two buckles and the Boston clogs into three colors, including two new designs that replace the standard leather and suede that Birkenstock wearers are used to.
It is a royal looking sandal with a beautiful buckle. What the rest of the upcoming models will look like is not yet known, but it is confirmed that they will be available for purchase after March 24, 2022.
