Prestigious brands simply "love" special edition products, usually limited in number, which makes them all the more desirable among (wealthy) buyers. At Aston Martin, they decided to celebrate the surprising market success of the DBS and V12 Vantage models with the release of a special version of the aforementioned duo, which they called the Carbon Black Edition. The black color in its greatest brilliance is the common denominator of both cars. Each car is painted by hand, which takes around 50 working hours. The interior of the car is also in black leather of the highest quality, which is hand-stitched with silver thread by craftsmen in Gaydon, home of Aston Martin headquarters. The seats in the special edition are made of carbon fiber and Kevlar, which makes them 17 kilograms lighter than the standard ones. The fittings and wallpaper are enriched with decorative elements in piano black, mostly made of carbon fiber. Audiophiles will be pampered by the in-house 700 W Premium Audio System in the V12 Vantage, and DBS has dedicated Bang & Olufsen's Beosound music system. The black beauties will be around 5 percent more expensive than regular Aston Martins, and they can be ordered from official dealers.
