The BlackBerry Key2 sticks with the physical keyboard, but adds a dual camera

BlackBerry introduced the Key2, the successor to the KeyOne model. Despite the fact that the new phone is very similar to its predecessor, it also differs from the latter in some features.

At first glance, the phone can be distinguished primarily by the width of the screen frame. Key 2 it has thinner frame, which is reflected in somewhat wider keys. They have a lot in common 53. 4.5-inch LCD screen, which displays the contents in relation 3:2, remains the same as the KeyOne model. The battery also has the same capacity – 3500 mAh.

Rear camera is made of two lenses with apertures f/1.8 and f/2.6 and resolution 12MP. It allows the user to take photos in portrait mode and autofocus mode. Front camera with resolution 8MP is capable of creating slow motion and video at HD resolution and frequency 30 frames per second.

Security application updates are very interesting Daughter, Locker and Power Center. From now on, it will be possible to find out which permissions an individual application has access to and whether the application is behaving strangely. Power Center it will remind you if you do not charge the battery according to the instructions. Those who charge their devices while sleeping can therefore quickly expect a notification on the screen.

The phone is powered by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. It will be available to the user 6 GB space on the read-write memory. It will be possible to choose between versions with 64 respectively 128 GB storage space.

In the US, the BlackBerry Key2 will be charged 649 $, which translates to 552 €. Other details are not yet known.
