Blake Little, Preservation: photographs of naked bodies covered in honey

Blake Little, Preservation (Chandra, reclining, 2014)

As a photographer, American artist Blake Little has captured quite a few of the world's most famous faces. Finally, he decided on a more experimental photography – namely, he played with the human body as a medium that forms when the skin comes into contact with a certain substance. Blake Little chose between, adding a "sweet sculptural" photo series, Preservation, to his portfolio.

Blake Little caught in the photographic lens models of various ages, nationalities and physiques covered in sticky sweet honey. The human body is thus in a photographic series Preservation became a canvas for dripping honey that left a different trail with each movement. Still in place, or in motion, which created a sense of drama and sensuality - the artist succeeded in all this with a simple idea and a more complex execution. You can see how the photo shoot in the studio took place in the video below, and the photos are available in the gallery.
