From June 17 to 21, 2014, the first international engaged film festival in Slovenia - the Bled Film Festival (BFF) - will take place in Bled, one of the most beautiful locations in the world, under the direction of the legendary actor Rado Šerbedžija.
First edition of the Bled Film Festival BFF, which, along with screenings of world and European film productions, will also offer an opportunity to reflect on the importance of water and find solutions to preserve water resources, in the competition program brings 8 feature films from different countries, which will be premiered in Slovenia, 8 documentaries, thematically related with water and other interesting accompanying events.
The founder of the festival Marko Gajić and Danijel Utješanović they have a high-flying vision, as they want to make BFF a recognizable global film festival that can compete with the American independent film festival - Sundance. Accordingly, the two organizations approached it with extreme caution and chose one of the most beautiful destinations in the world as the location. With an environmental note and the choice of an excellent organizational team, which, among other things, consists of They like Šerbedžija, Branko Đjurić – Đuro and Tanja Ribic, in our opinion, hit the spot.
We are looking forward to screenings of top feature films, watching socially engaged documentaries, enjoying films outdoors on the breathtaking shores of Lake Bled and talking to top filmmakers in the idyllic setting offered by Bled Castle.
