The end of our beautiful world has been postponed indefinitely, and the end of the season is unfortunately approaching, namely on Saturday, June 25, 2011, K4 closes its doors with digital perfectionists, conductors of atmospheric electronic dance ensemble music, BOMB THE BASS!
Bomb The Bass begins its story in '87, when Tim Simenon released the hip-hop-oriented single 'Beat Dis', which reached number two in the UK charts.
In the 90s, Bomb The Bass released three albums and nine singles. The production of the time came from increasingly popular sampling, and Bomb The Bass was a role model for many, as throughout the decade he successfully blurred the boundaries between danceable hip-hop and intimate trip-hop. During this time, Tim gained a reputation as a desirable studio creator. With the EP 'Clear Cut' (2001) he heralds a new era, already flirting with synthetic electronic sounds. Even though several years pass between new releases, Bomb The Bass does not stand still, founding his own label Electric Tones, and at the same time being the name behind pieces by well-known artists such as Constantly Cherry, Depeche Fashion, Sinead O'Connor, Lali Full, etc.
Seven years after the 'Clear Cut' EP, Bomb The Bass announces a new name without much publicity Futures Chaos, thus completely resetting the musical image and the album is signed by the Berlin label !K7. Like most albums so far, Future Chaos is no exception in terms of various collaborations. The album features the former frontman Queens of Stone Aha, Mark Lenagan, Fuji &Miyagi, Richard Thaira and Jakeone from the cast Toob. He made the biggest contribution Paul Conboy with his vocals, keyboards, arrangements and thus became an indispensable part of the live performance, where, among other things, he also takes care of the animation happening on the screen.
A new project named Back This Light was released in 2010, the debut album 'The Infinities' was also accompanied by remixes by Gui Boratt, DJ Marky & SPY on 'Black River' and 'Up the Mountain'. He contributed to the last piece 'Milakia' Martin L. Mountain, a member of the band Depeche Mode.
Back To Light is a dose of electronic music that flirts with electro-pop and techno thanks to Borat's influence.
Bomb The Bass comes with Paul Conboy, who will take care of the vocals and visuals BLOW OUT season 2010/11.
