The creators of the BMW Individual department went beyond all limits this time and impressed like never before. They presented the unique BMW Individual M850i Night Sky, which hides pieces of a real meteorite in its interior.
BMW Individual M850i Night Sky comes from the hands of the BMW Individual department, which at the Bavarian brand takes care of originality and gives free rein to the imagination. Inside the unique coupe we find parts a real meteorite, and are located on the center console, the engine start/stop button, the top of the gear lever and the iDrive controller. A piece of meteorite can even be found on thresholds. Meteorite particles can be quickly identified because special pattern, which experts call Widmanstätten. The pattern is named after a 19th-century person who described the distinctive pattern that results iron and of nickel crystals, which are formed on the surface of the meteorite over a long period of time 10 million years.
When we have looked around and found all the pieces of the meteorite, our gaze drifts to the central compartment, where it attracts us LED lighting in the form of a constellation. The rectangular Widmanstätten pattern can also be found on the ceiling and seats. In order to trace the same theme even outside the car, we are convinced by the same pattern marked braking discs and special side mirror covers. Observant eyes will not miss this same pattern on front to the bumper and side air vents.
You'd think that the use of aerospace materials would be enough to make the M850i truly special, but apparently it wasn't all that BMW had in mind. The Night Sky edition got more 3D printed brake calipers, which are 30% easier from serial brake calipers. The color that mostly represents it is also special black without the metallic sheen to complement it metallic blue San Marino color. Both flow into each other like the night starry sky. Night Sky is so truly spacey and a feast for the eyes.
