Considering that today we already charge many devices wirelessly, and modern cars are practically modern electronic devices on wheels, it was only a matter of time when we would also charge them in the same "wireless" way.
It was a BMW the first of the car manufacturers to introduce commercial wireless charging for their cars BMW Wireless Charging. The BMW charging station is actually big Qi a base to fill yours with BMW 530e iPerformance. The system consists of floor bases, which is called GroundPad, and secondary work CarPad, which attaches to the bottom car. The charging power is 3.2 kW and needs approx three and a half hours, that the batteries of the BMW 530e completely filled. They even went so far as to make it easier to maneuver updated parking camera software and thus made parking easier for us above charging station.
The system works perfectly automatically, and the driver does not have to press any buttons or anything like that. The base is also suitable for external use, so even rain will not be an obstacle when charging the car. The wireless charging system will be available from in July further, first in Germany, and then elsewhere in the world. If you are or intend to become the owner of a BMW 530e iPerformance, this will certainly be news to you impressed, because that way at least you will be completely at home thought out power cables and turning the car on and off every day. When the system expands and similar foundations become a thing everyday, but you will be able to leave the connecting cables as they are at home.
