The BMW iX1 debuted as BMW's first four-wheel electric car in the compact segment. It should be available already in the month of November.
BMW iX1 will be available in BMW iX1 xDrive30 configuration at the start of sales. It differs from the ʺnormalʺ BMW X1 by a slightly modified front part, but there are actually no major differences in shape. If nothing else, we will be reminded of electricity by the blue inserts around the kidneys, on the sides under the doors and in the rear bumper.
Although the BMW X1 and BMW iX1 are very similar, they are fundamentally different. The BMW iX1 does not use a conventional internal combustion engine, but a drive system consisting of two electric motors mounted on each of the axles. The system power is 230 kW (313 hp) and 494 newton meters of torque. With this, the iX1 also became one of the stronger representatives of the X1 family, for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h but he will need it 5.7 seconds.
Battery with capacity 64.6 kWh will store enough energy for honey 413 and 438 kilometers a long way. The electric iX1 features the same charging hardware and software as the i7, which means the iX1 will also be able to charge up to 130 kW. 70% it will be possible to charge the batteries already in 29 minutes. Standard charging via single or three-phase current to power will also be available 22 kW.
