There are only a good 14 days left until the Beijing Motor Show. The long-awaited BMW M2 Competition is supposed to be presented there, but look at it in detail, the information is already in the public domain. We have a visual image as well as some technical specifications available, all of which were leaked from the Slovenian website.
The rumors turned out to be true. BMW M2 Competition will really have the same 3 liter the bi-turbo 6-cylinder engine found in its bigger brother, the BMW M4. He will have 405 horse power and 550 Nm of torque. The standard BMW M2 has 365 horsepower, which means it has Competition 40 horsepower more. With a dual-clutch transmission, it will need that 4.0 seconds, to reach speeds from 0 to 100 km/h. That's two tenths faster than the standard M2 with a DCT transmission. A manual 6-speed gearbox will also be available for the biggest car enthusiasts. The maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h, and with the M Driver package it can be raised to 280 km/h.
