This year is a jubilee year for BMW. The brand is celebrating 100 years, they recently celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the 2002 model, and now with the special edition of the M3 model, the M3 30 Jahre, they have "drank" another 30 years of the letter M.
2016 is for BMW festive. After the centenary of the brand, Abraham model 2002 (2002 Homage), there is also the thirtieth anniversary of the first M model- M3. The original M3, that is E30, was released in 1986. He had 3.2 liter V4 engine with 195 HP of power and then fantastic 6.9 seconds acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h. In honor of the round jubilee, the Germans prepared a limited series M3 30 years (30 years M3). 30 Jahre markings were added to the 20-inch rims (jubilee stickers are also on the doors, air vents and in the passenger cabin) and numerous carbon additives.
Many things that have to be paid extra for the "non-anniversary" version are standard here, among other things adaptive LED headlights, carbon brakes, merino leather, Harman Kardon sound, ... They "painted" even after 3.0-liter I6 engine, who added some more muscles to it, so the jubilee can do it 450 hp (331 kW), and the power is transmitted to the wheels via a manual or DCT gearbox. In "running at 100 km/h" this is reflected in a tenth less than in the standard version (4,0 against 4.1 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h).

Even the BMW M3 is not cheap, and the anniversary version will be even more so 10 thousand euros more expensive. They will make anything 500 copies (the serial number of each specimen will be engraved in the passenger cabin), which they will be dressed in blue metallic color Macao Blue, the protective color of the original E30 model.
