We got to know the concept some time ago, but now the BMW X7 has become a reality. Not only does it represent the largest, it is also the most luxurious BMW SUV. The huge 'kidneys' are there with a purpose, with a mission to make an impressive first impression.
As already mentioned, it is BMW X7 the biggest and the most luxurious SUV from the BMW brand. In addition, it has the largest and by far most noticeable front the mask or so-called 'kidneys'. Shape and size make quite a difference bigger impression, as we are used to with other BMW SUVs. Although they are LED-headlights narrowly shaped, they may be even more precisely because of the larger front part more noticeable. The BMW X7 has a rear door bigger like the front, right makes it easier entry and exit for passengers in second and the third rows of seats.
The interior of the BMW X7 is spacious and full of luxury. The central console is as we are used to in BMW models of the latest generation z 12.3-inch instrument screen, next to which is also installed 12.3-inch screen for infotainment needs. We will find it below shiftable lever and buttons to control iDrive driving profiles, chassis height adjustment, camera and descent assistant, and engine on/off button.
Four-cornered air conditioning is available as part of the standard equipment, but can be upgraded to five-zone. For more bright interior everyone will have a BMW X7 three-part panoramic roof. Three rows or seven seats are standard, but they can be on request bench in the second row replace for two single, more luxurious and even more comfortable seats. All seats are electronically adjustable and passengers in the back row can also use it USB ports. The BMW X7 has an available med 326 and 2120 liters luggage compartment. The tailgate opens electronically, and the air-adjustable chassis lowers in the last part, which us makes it easier loading and unloading.
5,151 mm the long SUV will be available in Europe gasoline and two diesel engine. Petrol BMW X7 xDrive40i will have a peer 6-cylinder motor with 340 horsepower (250 kW). Both diesel engines are in-line 6-cylinder, BMW X7 xDrive30d with 265 horsepower (195 kW) and BMW X7 M50d with 400 horsepower (294 kW). Power is transmitted to all through 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and all models except the M50d have it xDrive four-wheel drive. There will be an even more powerful gasoline engine with 462 horsepower (340 kW), but unfortunately not on the European market. The most luxurious BMW SUV will be available from March 2019 further.
