From the studio that has already introduced us to Life of Pi, comes a screen adaptation of the novel of the same name, which was very well received by both readers and critics. It is a dark life story that shows the survival and struggle of the human spirit.

A book thief is an inspiring story about a girl who lives in Nazi Germany in 1939. Nine-year-old Liesel lives with her breadwinner parents in Munich. With the help of her foster father, she learns to read, books become her passion. Others steal food to survive, but she steals books, which she then shares with others during bombing raids.
