Italian artist Biancoshock is aware of this man's "obsession" with secret rooms and passages, so he decided to turn abandoned shafts into miniature underground dwellings as part of the Borderlife project. But his works go beyond artistic value...
Secret underground rooms are the artistic project of an Italian Biancoshock. While creating, he was driven by the call of humanity in addition to the call of creativity. Purpose of furnishing abandoned shafts, which breathed new life into them, is primarily to remind us of the fact that some people are forced to live in inhospitable conditions.

They inspired the Borderlife series homeless people from Bucharest, who live in sewer shafts (such are according to the latest data 600). One room is a shower cabin, another is a miniature kitchen, and the third has an artistic touch.
