Borders between countries in Europe fell with the advent of the European Union and the Schengen area. Formerly warring/subdued countries live in coexistence today, which also reflects the situation at the borders or former border crossings, where walls and soldiers once stood, and later customs officials, but today we hardly notice that we are in an area that divides countries or countries.
