It was only a matter of time before the Bovensiepen name would be revived – not as a shadow of Alpine, but as its own signature of craftsmanship. In collaboration with Zagat in Milan, they created something that is not of the everyday. This car doesn't rush. This car tells a story.

At the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2025, the Bovensiepen family, founders of the legendary Alpina brand, presented their first standalone model Bovensiepen ZagatoIt is an exclusive grand tourer that combines technical perfection BMW M4 and a design masterpiece from an Italian studio Confused.

Design: Milanese elegance on a Bavarian basis

The Bovensiepen Zagato is based on the BMW M4, but with a new body designed by Zagato. Features include a double bubble roof, a CNC-machined stainless steel grille and an almost entirely carbon fiber body. The B-pillar-less design and fully retractable glass surfaces emphasize the vehicle’s elegance and aerodynamics.

Engine and performance: 611 hp of pure dynamics

Under the hood of the Bovensiepen Zagato is a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers that develops 611 hp (449 kW) and 700 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.3 seconds, and the top speed exceeds 300 km/h. All-wheel drive and an automatic transmission ensure optimal power transfer to the road.

Interior: custom luxury

The cabin is upholstered in the finest Lavalina leather, with a choice of numerous color combinations and Alcantara trims. Each piece requires over 250 hours of handwork and includes over 400 unique components. A minimalist dashboard with a digital display and infotainment system completes the prestigious ambience.

Technical features: adaptive suspension and lightweight exhaust

The vehicle is equipped with Bilstein adaptive suspension, which allows for three driving modes: Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus. The Akrapovič titanium exhaust system is 40 % lighter than the standard one, contributing to better performance and sound.

Exclusivity and personalization

Production of the Bovensiepen Zagato will be strictly limited, with an exact number not yet known. Each car will be custom-built, with the possibility of extensive personalization of both the exterior and interior. First deliveries are scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
