The student section of the Celje Municipality Student Club will organize the fifth alternative concert Break the Silence on Friday, March 29.

As usual, 3 excellent metal/hardcore bands will perform at the event: BEFORE THE MURDER, WHAT MATTERS MOST and HAND IN MINE.

BEFORE THE MURDER: Before the murder are a band from Prekmurje that plays melodic hardcore/metal. They came on the scene in early 2010 and immediately started writing new material. Thus, in the same year, they released an epic entitled Ruins, which garnered positive reviews both in Slovenia and abroad. In 2011, they released their first single 'Siddhartha', which ranked very high on the Australian online radio station The Pit FM. In April 2013, they will release their first album called 'Dharma'.

WHAT MATTERS BRIDGE: The group was founded in early 2011 with Tomi, Juraj, Relja and Sanjin. They wanted to have something different in their "trash metal / metal" populated city where hardcore was said to be dead. So they played a few concerts with only 2-3 original songs at that time. As expected, their wishes were not enough for their place. So, Tomi asked around and they got gigs in places where people actually knew what Hardcore was. Since then, they have played in countries such as their native Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary.

HAND AND MINE: The band was formed in the summer of 2011, their first single entitled Something More received a lot of good response. At first they wanted to play metalcore music, but they soon found themselves in melodic hardcore waters. The emphasis is on deep texts that cover personal and social topics and on positive but at the same time heavy music. In the following months, they played concerts in Ljubljana and Maribor. During this time, they were also noticed by TrevMcDonnell from Australia, who runs a management agency called Project:Hive. In October 2012, they signed a contract with Project: Hive and Trev became their manager. Meanwhile, they started preparing the material for the first EP. In December, they went to the OverloadRecording Studio in Rome, where they recorded 5 new songs for the EP, which is still under construction.

The entrance fee is FREE for KŠOC members, EUR 3 for others (tickets will be sold on the day of the event from 8 p.m.)
