Devin Lytle is a whole life brunette. For a social experiment but she dyed her hair blonde to see if people would start looking at her and treating her differently now that she blonde.
The experiment consisted of three phases - a survey, using a dating app Tinder and walking in the streets. First, she performed on the street survey. Random passers-by got a form with adjectives and a photo of Devin as a brunette and a blonde. Both photos had to be described with do three words from the list. As a brunette, she was seen as serious, withdrawn and artistic, and as a blonde, she was attributed the following attributes - curious and lovely.

In the second test, Devin created two Tinder profiles and tried her luck as a brunette and a blonde. As a brunette, she had in the same time period 33 mutual crushes, but as a blonde 88. The last part of the experiment was walking the streets. Even though she wore exactly the same outfit both times, as a blonde she attracted a lot more eyes, and three times the men even whistled at her. This confirmed that we look at blondes differently than others. So when you decide to hair color change, think if it is worth it.
