At KEF, they presented a new speaker concept, which they named briefly Blades. The special feature of this concept is the parabolic curvature of the housing, which increases the power of the speaker, which means that the sound is created only by the movement of the driver and not by the curvature of the housing itself. Blades is the result of three years of exhaustive testing, expert analysis and complex experimentation with both the design and the technology that lies at the heart of the speaker. SAS (Single Apparent Source) technology means achieving the highest quality sound reproduction, as the drive units of omnidirectional speakers must work together and therefore require very similar individual sound fields. This is especially important for you crossover frequencies. The acclaimed technology does its work in a strictly curved housing built from graphite fibers, such as those found in high-end cars.
