The Bugatti Type 35 was the car that brought the Bugatti brand name to the world in the 1920s. The Type 35 is considered the most successful racing car of all time. He achieved around 2,000 victories in professional and amateur competitions. At the height of its fame, the Bugatti Type 35 averaged the top spot more than 14 times a week.
It was 1926 when Ettore Bugatti made a miniature replica of the car for his youngest son Bugatti Type 35. 'Car', nicknamed 'Baby', proved so popular that it became a production model and was produced until 1936. 110th anniversary founding of the Bugatti brand, its successor, the concept, was revealed to us Bugatti Baby II. This one too has rear wheel drive to propel it electric energy. For the difference from the original, Baby II is slightly a larger replica, ¾ size, and has enough space for them to sit behind the wheel children or even adults. A hand-crafted replica of the Baby II will be available this fall, and it's available for purchase 30,000 euros. Tax and delivery costs must be added to this price.
The Baby II has a removable lithium-ion battery, partial differential lock and regenerative braking. In child mode it offers 1 kW (1.36 hp) power and speed to 20 km/h, but if we switch to adult mode, we have available 4 kW (5.44 HP) and we can drive up to speed 45 km/h. Like the Bugatti Chiron, the Baby II also has the so-called Speed Key upgrade, with which we 'unlock' 10 kW (13.6 hp) and let's turn it off electronic speed limiter. It will only be available 500 examples of Bugatti Baby II.
