Canon EOS M200 can now record in 4K resolution and enables eye tracking.
Canon decided to upgrade the model EOS M100 from 2017 and place something in it useful modern technologies. Among them, the most striking are the possibility of recording in 4K and automatic focus tracking that follows the eyes (Eye Detection Autofocus). The processor is also new Digic 8, which will process recordings faster and more beautifully. It also increased the number of focus points, and the EOS M200 will sharpen video using their technology Dual Pixel.
Canon EOS M200 is meant above all for beginners, who would like to upgrade the quality of their photos from those taken with a smartphone. They will also help them a lot with this instructions, which will explain what a function on the camera does. Professional users will definitely not like the M200, as they have to accept too many compromises (4K requires 1.6x zoom, Dual Pixel autofocus only works when recording in 1080p resolution, the M200 does not have an external microphone input, etc.). Mirrorless with attached lens 15-45mm f/4.5-6.3 EF-M will be available from October onwards for around 610 euros.
