Studio Marvel presents the fans of film adaptations of their famous comics with another adventure about the superhero Captain America, and the plot of the story itself is a logical continuation of the cataclysmic events in New York after The Avengers. Steve Rogers, or Captain America, lives a secluded and peaceful life in the capital Washington and tries his best to adapt to the modern world in which he found himself after seven decades of ice sleep.
The sequel to Captain America – Captain America: The Winter Soldier is darker and more morally conflicting than its predecessor, as our hero discovers that something is very wrong within of the SHIELD organization, but also has to deal with his own again to best friend Bucky. He dies in the first part, but Mrs terrorist organization HYDRA brings him back to life, brainwashes him and cybernetically modifies him into a killing machine, v The Winter Soldier.
The story itself is of course based on comic book series from 1941, in which they returned to the big screen Chris Evans (Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers) as the cult super hero Steve Rogers or Captain America and Scarlett Johansson (Avengers, Iron Man 2) as Nataša Romanoff or Black Widow. They joined him Sebastian Stan (Captain America: The First Avenger, Black Swan) as Bucky Barnes or The Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (Bomb Mission, Million Dollar Girl) as Sam Wilson - Falcon, Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger) as Peggy Carter, Oscar winner Robert Redford (All is Lost, The Law of Silence) as Alexander Pierce, one of the members of the OBOD Board of Control, and Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers, Iron Man 2) as fearless and uncompromising OBOD director Nick Fury.
