Kinetic animals

Four years of dreaming, designing, researching and playing, add the help of a Kickstarter campaign and Elly, Geno and Rory are born.

Last year's start up is this year's hit. It all started with a design, a dream and the help of a Kickstarter campaign last year, and the goal was to create a complex mechanical circuit that is accessible to everyone. They looked to the Dutch for inspiration to the sculptor Theo Jansen. Three animals with cute names have been created, which we put together and are ready to walk around the room.

Kinetic Creatures animals keep children busy for hours and hours. The animal parts are mostly made from cut cardboard, sticks and wires that connect all the parts. They are actually simple low-tech animal robots. There are three models available Kinetic Creatures – Elly the elephant, Geno the giraffe and Rory the rhinoceros. Their measurements are surprisingly respectable. The elephant measures about 30 centimeters in height and length, the giraffe measures about 40 centimeters in height and measures 24 centimeters in length, and the rhinoceros measures 54 centimeters in length and 45 centimeters in height.

The robots are originally wound on their hands so that we can admire their walking. However, since in the modern motorized world cheering is not so much fun anymore, they have also prepared motorized equipment that ensures that the animals walk on their own. He will also set the giraffe on its way LEGO engine, if we may already have it in our toy collection.
