The G-Shock GA2100 series of wristwatches was introduced in 2019, and with its octagonal shape and minimalist design, it became an instant hit. Now the watch will get its fully ʺsteelʺ, or ʺFull Metalʺ version.
Casio G-Shock GMB2100 is a robust metal "upgrade" of the successful G-Shock GA2100 model. The GMB2100 wristwatch connects the quartz movement that powers it solar energy, with a traditional analog dial that hides a bunch of advanced electronic solutions underneath. The watch shows the world time of 38 well-known cities, up to 5 daily reminders, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and via a Bluetooth connection with the app, the watch automatically checks and sets the exact time four times a day.
The stainless steel case is thick 12.8 mm and is available in silver, black or rose gold. As is usual with the G-Shock series, the watch is shock-resistant and water-resistant to 20 bars. A robust wristwatch measures 49.88 X 44.4 mm and has a matching stainless steel strap. The G-Shock GMB2100 wristwatch will be available from August 12 further, but it should stand a little beyond 500 euros.
