Casio ushers in spring with a revamp of two popular G-Shock models.
Series of durable watches Casio G-Shock GA-2100 Utility Black was originally designed in complete “blackness”, the spring update brings luminous accents to the inside of the watch, giving it a black and neon look. They have been added to the growing family of 2100 series wristwatches three new hours, the latest premium version of the MR-G, boasts the design of the original DW-5000C G-Shock watch from 1983.
The new watches in the GA-2100 series boast a matte black finish, accented by blue, green or orange neon accents. Hands, day indicators and inscriptions on the dial are dressed in vivid colors. The case has dual LED lighting, which improves readability in low light. The new generation GA-2100 features an advanced stopwatch, timer and alarm that can be set up to five times a day. The internal reinforcements of the mechanism enable shock resistance and water resistance up to 200 meters deep.
A more prestigious watch MRI-B5000 boasts the use of premium materials and a high level of finishing. The iconic case from 1983 is made of titanium construction, scratch resistant DLC coating, DAT55G titanium strap, sapphire crystal and then polished with the Sallaz process. The frame is made of Cobarion alloy, which combines a mixture of cobalt and chromium. It's an alloy four times harder made of titanium and shines like platinum. The MRG-B5000 offers the same set of features as its "siblings" in the GMW family. The G-Shock MRG-B5000 is available for approx 3,500 euros, and new watches from the GA-2100 family are available for approx 100 euros.
