The Casio PRO TREK WSD-F30 (smart) watch is designed to easily withstand an adventure far from civilization, as it can be transformed from an ordinary watch that only shows the time into a smart watch that can do everything we expect from a device with by Google Wear OS.
Casio PRO TREK WSD-F30 we had the chance to see it last September, when it was presented at the Berlin IFA fair, but now we can finally see the robust military-standard watch bought.
The main feature of the Casio watch WSD-F30 is that it is made with an emphasis on durable housing and it has double screen – the top screen is so simple black and white with lower resolution and shows time, barometric pressure, compass and altitude. It also consumes little energy and the watch works in this mode for up to a month.
Below the upper screen is a 1.2-inch na touch sensitive OLED screen, which we use when we want an ordinary watch to become smart – then the clock displays map with the current position, notifications from the phone and everything we expect from a Google Wear OS device. In smart mode, the battery lasts for a day and a half.
The watch is available in orange, black and blue colors for 550 euros.
