The construction of castles in honor of King Matjaž will take place between 27 and 29 January 2017. The three-day event opens on Fridays night slalom between torches (for the King Matjaž Cup) at the ski resort in Črna na Koroškem. On Sunday, children will come to their own account, for whom there will be many programs, among other things interesting animations, puppet shows, songs, finding hidden treasure and riding. On Sunday, they will award prizes for the best artistic and literary works on the theme of King Matjaž, created by students of Slovenian primary schools.
