The New Year's jump into the sea is an event on New Year's Day that you simply cannot miss! It is an event that has become as big as Triglav. Hundreds of participants, thousands of curious people. And just as every true Slovene must be at Triglav at least once in their life, every true Slovene must jump into the sea at least once in their life on January 1st. The next opportunity will be on January 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Portorož on the central beach. The event will be held for the 12th time!

The Ljubljana Holiday Fair 2015 starts already in November!

The Ljubljana Holiday Fair has always been the first harbinger and concept of a happy December. In 2015, nothing will be different, except that the "Olympic flame" will be lit together with the lighting of the festive lights and that it will start already in November 2015. We are entering the happy December this year, when technically we are not yet in the last month of the year. The traditional Ljubljana Holiday Fair 2015 with the lighting of the lights starts on November 27, and will last until January 3, 2016, when the curtain will once again fall on the wide range of products, food and drinks.

St. Nicholas Fair and St. Nicholas Procession 2015 in Ljubljana

Michaelmas and the Saint Nicholas Procession 2015 in Ljubljana will traditionally be marked by the Saint Nicholas Fair and Saint Nicholas Procession, which honor the arrival of the first of the three good men who come to Ljubljana to visit in December.
