Ice cream festival in Portorož

On Sunday, May 24, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., a wide range of different types of ice cream will be available for tasting at the lowest prices in the country in well-known Portorož pastry shops and ice cream parlors, and the entire event will be accompanied by a varied entertainment program.

Sakuga Gaiden – the first major international convention of Japanese pop culture in Slovenia

For the first time in Slovenia, we will be able to visit a truly large international convention of Japanese pop culture Sakuga Gaiden, which will take place on Saturday, June 20 at the Economic Exhibition Center in Ljubljana. Fans of the latest computer games, table top games, "cosplay" contests, singing contests, richly stocked stands, dance rehearsals, anime cartoons and their knowledge contests, comedy performances, and more will be able to get their money's worth. We will also be able to see and hear one of the biggest Japanese music pop groups, An Cafe (Antic Cafe).

Sexto 'Nplugged Festival - an intimate and acoustic music experience in Friuli

The Sexto 'Nplugged festival, which this year takes place for the tenth year in the charming Piazza Castello in Sesto al Reghena in Friuli, will mark the days between July 5 and 25 this year. Unique acoustic versions of artistic performances will be offered this year by Einstürzende Neubauten, St. Vincent, Belle and Sebastian, Passenger, Stu Larsen, Anna Calvi and Patrick Wolf.

Franja Marathon 2015 – the biggest festival of Slovenian cycling

Although quite a few holidays are behind us, cycling fans are still waiting for theirs. This has stretched over several days in the last decade. This year, the Franja Marathon, which will take place from June 12 to 14, 2015, will turn 34. From humble beginnings, it has grown into an international recreational road cycling competition. Due to the many routes, the event is intended for everyone, from the best to families with children. Its popularity is evidenced by the saying that if, according to an unwritten rule, every Slovene should step on the top of Triglav at least once, every cyclist who gives it his all should ride Franja.

Curry Life Figovec: Opening of the summer garden

The former Figovec inn underwent a thorough renovation and became the Curry Life Figovec restaurant last November. These days, she also acquired a summer garden and her own pastry shop, which we can try out at the Opening of the Summer Garden, which will take place on Thursday, May 14, from 12 noon.
