Dancing with Mary will open the 17th Documentary Film Festival in Ljubljana. The feature-length documentary, which is the fruit of the Italian-Argentine-Slovenian relationship, is directed by the director of Slovenian roots, Ivan Gergolet, and tells the story of Marija Fux, a 90-year-old Argentine dancer and owner of a dance studio in the center of Buenos Aires.
The Simposons are also mourning after Barbapapa. Just a few months before his 60th birthday, the Emmy-winning Sam Simon, co-creator of the cult cartoon series The Simpsons, the longest-running cartoon television series, which has been on TV screens since long ago in 1989, left us. as well as the cult TV series Cheers and Taxi. The latter opened the door for him to Matt Groening, with whom he later began to make history. He was also a great philanthropist and a passionate poker player.
In the medieval film Last Knights, Clive Owen returns to wielding a sword, as he did in King Arthur. This time in the role of the warrior Raiden, who is on a mission with his men to avenge his oblate master (Morgan Freeman) and overthrow the corrupt and sadistic ruler (Aksel Hennie). The Japanese Kazuaki Kiriya (The Legend of Goemon) played the directorial role.
