This week, Maribor will be marked by contemporary dance and artistic performance. From October 1 to 5, as part of the Performa/Platforma 2014 festival, as many as fifteen events will take place in various locations, which will bring together top Slovenian and foreign artists in the Styrian capital.

From October 17 to 26, Maribor will breathe again for ten days with the most important festival meeting of Slovenian and foreign theaters here. The 49th Borštnik's Meeting festival will open playfully this year at the Slovenian National Theatre: with Dietr Roth's unusual play Murmel Murmel.
In September, the new 2014/2015 season began on the stage of MGL (City Theater of Ljubljana), which brings with it twelve new performances - six premieres on the big stage, where the great stories of the twentieth century will be performed, and six premieres on the Small Stage, where stories of the twenty-first century will be presented.

On October 6, with the play DESERT, he will perform for the first time in the Štih hall of Cankarjev dom and will provide us with an evening full of laughter. On September 24, Cankarjev dom will be the venue for a top musical event. The magnificent Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra from Moscow will play in the Gallus Hall under the baton of the charismatic conductor Vladimir Fedoseyev.
On the third of October, the opera The Magic Flute, undoubtedly one of Mozart's greatest masterpieces, will be premiered on the stage of the Slovenian National Theater in Maribor. The renowned singer Marcos Fink will perform in one of the main roles, and the master of extravagance Alan Hranitelj will take care of the costume design.

The International Puppet Festival, Puppets 2014 brings a selection of domestic and foreign puppet productions for the twelfth time.
As part of the 62nd Ljubljana Festival, the well-known work Flowers in the Autumn will be performed on the stage of the Ljubljana Križanka for five consecutive evenings from September 17 to 21 - but in a slightly different way. The creators promise us an original Slovenian musical, and the role of Meta will be played by two Slovenian beauties: actress Maja Martina Merljak and singer Nina Pušlar.
